Arrggh!

Oh no! I just realized that pages 14 through 48 are missing! That's because I converted the gif images to jpeg, but those converted files were lost when I took the site down a while back and transferred it to Lynx.

Looks like that needs to be fixed.... so I'll be working on getting that back in order.

I have returned

Well, I'm actually working on the comic again. It's a little slow-going since I have a freelance project to get caught up on as well, and my drawing skills have atrophied all the while. Still, it's coming along ok.

The ETA is some time Thursday.

Heh, I haven't forgotten about reviving 2214. I'm in the middle of some more work right now and managed to lose that "free time" I was talking about before.

Actually, something that is quite likely is that I'll either finish up the comic soon, or move on to composing some more music in the mp3 section. Who knows.

One of the larger projects I have been working on is the new CocoeBiz site. Go check it out - they promote and distribute the music of the great video game soundtrack composers. Many of these artists are the inspiration for my own work. It's been wonderful to be able to work on this project. They've got a lot of awesome albums there. If you like the VGM genre of music, CocoeBiz's site is a must. I'm going to buy some albums that have been on my list.

Speaking of, one of my favorite albums is the arranged album of Yasunori Mitsuda's music for "Xenogears" - "Creid".

So... now you've got some idea of what I've been up to. I'll do comics again, seriously.

Back to work on 2214

After a long sabbatical, and much work on things other than art, I've got some time to work on the comic. If things go well, I'll have an update this week.

Yohji had to take care of some other items, so she won't be doing page 112. Time and circumstances permitting, I'll take over the comic again and we'll see how it goes.

Might be back here and there

Hi, I've returned. Yohji's going to be doing the next page, and after discussing things I might be doing some of the updates as well. With two artists, that might increase the chance of more frequent updates (two per week?). Souji still might be joining in.

Although over the past month I've been very busy, I realized that this site was too big of an investment to simply walk away from. I don't really have much time for it, but it's still foolish to abandon something for which a lot of money went into hosting, advertising, and buying supplies (two Wacom tablets, extra hard drives for backing up art, art supplies, paper, etc.) plus what was spent keeping the store open (which has been closed).

Keep checking for updates. Things change around here far more drastically than most sites, which can be both exciting and frustrating. The site's staying put for now, and Lynx has the forums running on his site .

So I'd like to thank Yohji, Souji, and Lynx for what they're doing, and once things settle down and resemble "normal" for me again, I might jump back in.

Message from the interim artist

Hi, I'll be taking over updating 2214's pages while Nitro is taking an extended break from the site.

My art style is very different from his, but I'll try to retain most of the overall look. I've been given a copy of the script for the remaining story.

As far as updates, I work on a sporadic schedule, but I'll do my best to keep you posted on progress.

2214's been dead for about two months now, so those of you who are still around, great news for you (I hope). As of right now, the forums are down since Lynx is re-organizing things on that end.

So when is Nitro coming back to work on 2214 again? From what I've heard it might be a while, but eventually. In the mean time, I'll see what can be done to keep things going with the art :)

Ok, here's the deal:
I am looking for an artist to take over drawing for 2214. Since my schedule isn't allowing me to get any work done on it, I'd like to find a good artist to take over for me.
The completed script for 2214 is ready, describing what happens on each page.
A new writer is also needed.
