In the past 36 hours I've been learning how to use Blender to create my 3D artwork. The program that I've been using is from 1996, so it's about time I move on to using something better. Blender is free and open source - and pretty easy to use once you've watched a few tutorials.
I spent some time this holiday weekend watching this tutorial (WARNING: site header artwork potentially NSFW). The videos are pretty long and well-explained. It's a few hours, but the time is well worth the investment.
Additionally, I've been doing freelance work. The first panel for page 127 is underway - it's going to be detailed so I'm taking the time to try to get it done right.
