As you may already know - since I've ranted about it almost every time it happens - my Internet connection has been flaky once again. This only happens when the temperature outside drops considerably below freezing - say around 20° F or below. It works fine today since the weather is relatively mild for this time of year.
DSL finally became available in my area, so the time has come to switch. Since cable Internet is faster than DSL, it's a shame that a normally good connection has to be so unreliable as to push someone to replace it with a (hopefully) more reliable but slower connection.
The DSL modem arrives Wednesday; that will be the moment of truth as to whether or not DSL in my area will be more reliable.
