The new Nitrocosm.com!

If you're reading this, then you're visiting the new, improved version of Nitrocosm.com! This is version 5 of the site, with many all-new features.

This is the first fully searchable version of the site. All site content can be located through the search feature.

The original version of 2214 is still available on here, as well as the new main feature of the site - a complete re-make of 2214, in progress. The re-make will be slower paced, more detailed, and better planned than the original version.

The music and video sections have the ability to play media in-page now, unlike the previous versions where everything had to be downloaded first.

Art galleries now have a 'view larger' feature, with which an overlay will fade in and display a higher resolution version of some gallery items.

All of the site content from before has been migrated over to the new system. Unfortunately, due to the way the new system works, the old links no longer work so you'll have to re-bookmark any site sections that you may have previously bookmarked.

Page render times should be drastically improved, although this may not make much of a difference most of the time. Since this new design uses higher-quality images, the graphical elements of the site layout will certainly load a little slower than before. This is a trade-off for better image quality.
