Well, the new year has started and already there's plenty to ramble on about.
First off, I've started work on the next page of 2214. Going with the unscripted approach - the general idea of the story is in my head but I lay out the page as I draw instead of beforehand. This freestyle method is what I used to use back in 2004 during 2214's more frequent updates.
I just got the new Back to the Future game from Telltale Games and it is awesome. I actually already completed the first installment and anxiously await the next installment, which is due to release in February. It greatly expands on the storyline from the movies and you learn a LOT about Doc Brown and Hill Valley. I won't say anymore in order to avoid spoiling it for you. If you like Back to the Future you'll like this game.
It's pretty obvious that BTTF is my favorite movie (trilogy) since the Hovercrane is a pretty obvious imitation of a flying DeLorean time machine. Heh. Shameless, but it's the truth.
A funny note about the game is that there is a micro cassette recorder that's central to the game play. Just less than a week ago I purchased the exact same micro cassette recorder model (A Sony M-470) on a pure whim because I had a dream where I wanted to get some micro cassettes really badly. I'm not making this up. It's a really funny coincidence.
It was pretty hilarious because the recorder is sitting right next to me on the desk while I'm using the thing in the game.
