Hello Again.

It has been a while since a rant has been posted here since I've been using the status text above the rant column for quick updates.

2214 is actually getting regular updates these days and, quite honestly, has finally become a relaxing, enjoyable activity for me on the weekends.

Freelancing has picked up with steady work through the week which has helped me relax a bit and not worry so much about financial issues. Of course, this site has not yet been monetized in any way and it serves mainly as a hobby and a portfolio of some of my work. It's fun, which is the key factor.

From time to time the typical worries about the future, "what-if" thoughts, and other things get me worried to the point where I cannot get anything done. Amazingly, I worked through a recent bout of that rather quickly and it actually motivated me to want to stay busy even more.

As time permits, I plan to work on the 2214 re-draws and take care of a few bugs around the site. The animation project is still on hold until there is more time to work on it, though.
